Former TRANSCOM Senior Leader Joins XIO Board of Advisors
Appointment of Mr. Charlie Fletcher brings vast experience in DoD logistics and related operational improvements
JANUARY 20, 2010: Vienna, VA – XIO Strategies, Inc., a supply chain management and communications consulting firm, announced that Ret. Army Major General Charlie Fletcher, the Director of Mobility and Logistics Command & Control within Advanced Global Services & Support in Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, has joined the company’s Board of Advisors.

In his position at Boeing, Fletcher is responsible for establishing the company’s capability to fuse logistics information from factory to user for both military and commercial customers worldwide. He is also one of eleven NATO Senior Mentors, working directly with the NATO staff and senior NATO leaders to improve logistics preparedness. Prior to his position at Boeing, Fletcher retired as an Army Major General. His last active duty assignment was Director of Operations and Plans at U.S. Transportation Command (TRANSCOM), where he was the senior operator of the Defense Department’s $26B strategic distribution chain.
